Position Summary:
The Retail Sales Associate (RSA) provides expert customer service and sales support within the retail store. Your role will be to educate customers on our products and plans and inform them when purchase of additional products or services might be helpful. You will help them through the activation process and follow up after purchase. Possible duties could include billing and account research, equipment triage, and issue resolution. Your main goal will be to provide a positive and productive experience to our customers, to maintain a pleasant atmosphere within the store and to encourage them to return to us for all their wireless needs.
Job Responsibilities/Expectations:
The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales and operations; ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout the store. Must play a leadership role in solving problems, make informed decisions and manage the workforce and time wisely in order to achieve maximum results.
Assist in the recruitment and hiring of the most qualified sales representatives to meet the district's needs
Conduct orientation, train sales staff in execution of daily tasks and to maximize sales
Conduct coaching sessions, team meetings and performance evaluations
Coordinate ongoing employee development
Participate in administering and developing short and long term goals, quotas and objectives.
Coordinate sales promotion activities and pricing of merchandise
Oversee preparation of merchandise placement and displays
Review operational reports and records to ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures, monitor store profitability, and manage payroll budgets.
Oversee compliance of sales staff with established Company policies and standards, such as safekeeping of Company funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales, record keeping procedures and overall maintenance of the stores by performing required audits
Help solve problems that affect the stores service, efficiency, and productivity
Evaluate local competition and make pricing recommendations to maintain competitive edge
Requirements:
2 years successful management experience in a retail environment
Strong sales and sales management skills
Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Proven leadership ability and knowledge of wireless industry desired
Proven success in customer resolution/satisfaction is required
Demonstrated successful sales experience exceeding quota required
Proficient in using multiple computer based systems
Self motivated and highly organized individual
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communications skills
