A metal components manufacturer in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking an Automatic Press Operator to work in the metal stamping operations. The Automatic Press Operator will be using prescribed tools and machine sequence to set-up, adjust, and operate an automatic press and associated dies including feeder, decoiler and straighteners as well as troubleshooting typical operating difficulties. Candidates must have at least three years of experience operating an automatic press in a metal stamping environment.
This position will train on 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm and then transfer to 2nd shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm Monday – Friday with overtime as production requires. This position is full time with a pay range of $16.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
