DESCRIPTION
This is a full time General/Industrial Maintenance and Repair position working on and locally off-site for an OEM of Orthopedic Appliances in the Metro Detroit area. This position has some special requirements. You must undergo drug screening, pass a physical examination and undergo a reference or security check.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform and/or direct and coordinate as needed requisite maintenance activities. Organize and prioritize planned, unplanned and self assigned tasks seamlessly to meet deadlines. Perform inspections as needed to ensure that machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently and the condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
REQUIRED ALBILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
Candidate must have a professional frame of mind, a positive outlook, be self-motivated, punctual and communicate effectively within the organization and with service/materials suppliers.
Applicants must have experience working with residential and/ or industrial electrical circuits, basic plumbing systems and ability to operate welding equipment; machine repair experience is a plus.
