Statement: Responsible for quality reconditioning work as directed by the Manager and/or his delegate using written instructions or verbal direction.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains quality work by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Determine good and scrap parts from units being disassembled
- Report low inventory items
- Package and ship parts
- Wear safety glasses and any other protective gear as directed by Manager
- Resolve problems with parts, tooling, methods, etc. involving Manager when necessary
- Promotes teamwork and open communication. Assists in the development and implementation of processes and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
How to measure performance:
- Quality standards must be met
- Accurate and up to date inventory system
- Assembly requirements are completed in a timely manner
- Successfully cross trained as required by Manager
- Maintains a clean and safe work area
Skills Required:
- Solid mechanical ability
- Exhibits organizational skills
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Must be able to interpret written and/or pictorial work instructions
- Able to stand for long periods of time
