Huron Technologies - www.hurontech.com, a leading manufacturer of custom release agents for molding Polyurethane, Rubber, Composite and Concrete materials, is seeking a full-time INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE to develop new business leads and facilitate the sale of Huron’s product solutions to meet the specific needs of each customer. Our products are used in a variety of industries nationwide, including automotive, architectural, construction, electronics and transportation. We pride ourselves on our ability to develop innovative and reliable manufacturing solutions in partnership with our customers. Our Inside Sales Representatives serve as the vital link in this process.
Huron’s Inside Sales Representatives work with customer engineers, production supervisors and purchasing agents to find products that solve customer problems. Daily activities include developing new business leads (mostly through phone and email communications), connecting with existing customers, and training end-users on the safe and appropriate application of our products. Inside Sales Representatives meet with customers and develop relationships that result in continued product sales month after month.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is confident, goal oriented and organized. Our most successful representatives are able to relate well (connect) to others and possess a passion to ensure customer success through use of Huron’s products.
Job duties include:
Developing long term professional relationships with manufacturing company decision makers using phone, email and face-to-face communication.
Developing new customers through prospecting, referrals and follow up on sales leads generated through marketing activities.
Developing a detailed understanding of customer and prospect manufacturing processes and requirements.
Providing customers with solutions based sales.
Responding to customer needs for technical service, including product improvements, training and other consultative sales activities.
Managing sample testing activities and documenting results to validate products and determine customer satisfaction.
Coordinating the initial ordering process with customer service, accounting and production.
Establishing and maintaining call plans.
Traveling to customer locations to demonstrate products, facilitate production trials, and/or present product training and service seminars. (Up to 20% travel may be required within a defined North American territory)
Maintaining detailed customer information, including activity notes, using Customer Relationship Management software.
