Have you considered a career in the packaging industry? There are over 100,000 packaging manufacturing companies in operation, representing 5 million jobs, and according to the World Packaging Organization, the global packaging material and machinery industry generates $500 billion annually. Now that’s impressive! Packaging technology has been undergoing rapid development over the past few decades, with consumers reliant on packaging for food safety and transportability in particular. The explosion of supermarkets and convenience foods would not have been possible without developments in packaging. But don’t take our word for it, check out this report: http://www.reportlinker.com/ci02319/Packaging.html
So how would you like to take your skills, work experience, and motivation and put it to work for a company in a position making packaging products you can be proud of? It is time to stop working in a position that doesn’t offer growth, additional responsibility, or pay increases and it is time to work for a company that wants to help you succeed in your position, train on new equipment, advance, and offer competitive wages, pay increases, merit bonuses, and a comprehensive benefit package that includes tuition reimbursement and a 401(k) plan.
Several current employees are preparing for retirement within the next few years and in order to maintain company success and longevity, the company is hiring for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift operators. All positions are full time and have a starting pay rate range of $10.00-$12.00 per hour. You will learn how to operate equipment and understand the process of packaging operations through a company training and coaching program that will prepare you for advancement and pay increases. In order to be considered for these positions, you must have all of the following qualifications: two or more years of recent work experience in a manufacturing environment, high school diploma or GED, demonstrated mechanical abilities, the ability to read a ruler and perform basic math using fractions, and computer literacy.
