Primary Purpose of Position: To maintain and scan medical records and work as a General Office Clerk.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Scan incoming documents into Edoc's, by linking to the patient and pushing document to the que or to final release.
- Work efficiently and in an organized fashion as duties are time sensitive.
- Must become proficient at using office equipment such as fax machine, scanner, copier, and computer, as they relate to job duties.
Other Duties May Consist of:
- Retrieve incoming faxes and move them electronically to correct department ques in a
- timely manner.
- Update return mail and send out correct documents timely, and put notes in Condor.
- Open daily mail and prepare document for scanning.
- Send medical records in a timely manner, with signature on file, to appropriate requester.
- Open and sort incoming mail.
- Answer elephones, and take messages.
- Help co-workers retrieve documents when requested.
- Runs folding machine to send out going mail daily, and maintains maintenance of machine and calls vendor when assistance is needed.
- Any other duties as assigned by manager or co-director.
