Technical Services Manager
Manages the Technical Services team, which serves as the technical liaison between Amcor and our customers/co-packers for all business segments (beverage including hot- and cold-fill, food, spirits, health/personal care, and pharmaceutical) in their assigned region within the United States and Canada. Must assess technical opportunities and challenges, both internally and at Customer locations, and determine and implement win-win solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manages team of remote Technical Service Representatives
- Maintains a small region within driving distance of the Manchester office
- Coordinates the tech service schedule and resolves scheduling conflicts
- Develops and implements strategies to reduce costs
- Develops systems for continuous improvement of technical service initiatives and value creation
- Develops and maintains budget
To qualify, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or combination of education and experience
- 6- 10 years of applicable experience, including working knowledge of injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion molding processes, equipment, and troubleshooting
- Experience with cold fill, hot fill, ambient fill, aseptic, retort, and HPP filling line equipment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good customer relationship building skills
- Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
