Module Operators (Equipment Operators, Testing Operators, Inspection and Packing Operators)
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate manufacturing process tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to assemble and test solar modules.
Perform basic machine set ups and adjustments
Transport modules from one operation to the next
Follow all safety, quality and other manufacturing procedures
Understand and follow product specifications and ensure product meets requirements.
Setup, calibrate and run automated/semi-automated equipment
Maintain process quality and yield
Work with maintenance and engineering to troubleshoot equipment and process problems
Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities on equipment
Work with previous and following shifts to make smooth shift transitions
Participate and contribute to continuous improvement and problem solving activities.
Attend scheduled training and meetings.

Qualifications: Skills/Knowledge/Experience
HS diploma
Able to read and write in English
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to operate equipment
Ability to interact with automated equipment with computer interface
Previous factory experience desirable
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to pass a Fit for duty pre-screening test.
Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and pre-employment physical.
Note:
The Operators will be running various equipment sets and some manual operations. Some operators will be running stringers, laminators and back end equipment. Other operators will be running flash testers and safety test equipment, Inspection and Packing Operators will be at the back end.
