We are looking for an Account Manager. The Account Manager is the lead commercial contact and works together with the Application Engineer to provide the necessary service to the customer. The business situation and individual skills may dictate the method of meeting these responsibilities, but the end result will always be superior customer service and the advancement of the business. The Account Manager is responsible for performing the necessary job functions needed to fully support customer projects. The Account Manager is responsible to ensure that the product and sales strategies of the organization are implemented. In addition, the account manager needs to keep the technical staff aware of the commercial implications of decisions. The Account Manager ensures that all commercial, engineering, technical and quality issues are discussed and resolved with the appropriate customer and internal personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assume complete responsibility for assigned accounts. Establish close contact with all relevant customer purchasing, engineering, quality and manufacturing personnel to gain their assistance in the maintenance of current business and development of new business. Travel is required to support the customer and to support/develop new opportunities.
Ensure that all commercial, engineering, technical and quality issues are discussed and resolved with the appropriate customer and internal personnel.
Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of quotations, sample and initial production shipments.
Maintain effective communications with the Friction Products organization with respect to business trends, marketing conditions and competitive changes.
Coordinate and organize visits to plants and technical sites to ensure that the customer(s)' needs and requirements are being met.
Actively participate in achieving corporate and divisional goals and objectives relative to quality, cost, profit, and return on sales, productivity, customer service, and adherence to budget goals.
Keep fully informed of product and manufacturing changes that are internal and external to the organization.
Have a proficient knowledge of internal and customer systems and how to use them to benefit the business.
Assist in the development of the sales plan/forecast, long-term strategic plan, and input competitor information as it becomes available.
Monitor and assist in settling aging accounts receivable.
Create detailed customer presentations.
Manage and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
Evaluate business issues and prioritize activities.
Communicate the changing needs of the marketplace to assist in the development of new products and materials.
Share knowledge with and mentor other Application Engineers and Account Managers.

Responsible to complete the established required skills training.
Recognize that each employee has the authority to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to the commercial team product, process systems. Takes action to stop further work on non-conforming suspect product until the deficiency or conditions have been corrected.
