About this Opportunity
As an e-Marketing Project Manager, you'll oversee marketing projects and programs in support of MillerKnoll's global e-Marketing strategy. You will serve as the primary contact for project participants and be responsible for all aspects of the project or program over the entire project life (initiation, planninig, execution, control, closing).
What You'll Do

Collaborate with business partners to identify requirements, develop plans, direct and execute project activities, monitor and control risk, and close projects. You will also perform business analytical work (e.g., requirement gathering, process mapping, and problem-solving).
Participate in and support the execution of MillerKnoll's marketing technology strategy. You will ensure a consistent brand experience among all marketing communication channels.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested.
Prepare requisite project documentation, including project charters, plans, schedules, budgets, tracking reports, specifications, and test plans to ensure the consistency and quality of deliverables. You will monitor and report on key project metrics.
Serve as project manager for one or more e-Marketing projects.
Stay current with trends and best practices in technology, e-Business, and project management, and serve as a subject matter expert in marketing technology.

You might be just who we're looking for if you have . . .
A Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Marketing.
Five to eight years of IT systems, business analyst, or marketing-related experience, with a proven knowledge of e-Marketing technology concepts, implementation, and best practices. You'll also need experience managing projects that integrate technologies across the demand chain.
Five years of progressive project management experience (PMP certification preferred).
A demonstrated creative ability and the ability to translate business requirements into technical applications.
Proven organizational and time management skills. You'll also need to be a self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Experience in the iterative, creative process of web user interface design and development.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, proven creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead through influence and relationship building.
A demonstrated ability to effectively use the office automation, communication, software, and tools currently being used in the Herman Miller office environment.
A proven ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple competing priorities, and demonstrate flexibility in project management. You'll also need strong time management capabilities with an eye toward detail.
The abililty to travel (less than 15% of the time) throughout North America.
The ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
