Currently, TMP is seeking a Merchant/Licensed Product Developer. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for assortment decisions and licensed product development focusing on item selection, item design, program profitability and promotions execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assortment Planning:
- Validating the accuracy of new item information
- Maintaining item master (product set up and maintenance, meta data, photography, description)
- Category planning for optimal product mix and category strategy
- Promotion Planning:
- Digital promotion planning to collaboration with Digital Marketing
- Coordinating Pull and Replace process
- Coordinating promotion proofing process
- Working with Vendor to provide comped advertising sample/images to photograph
- Providing correct information and input for online publication
- Interface with Paid Search agency
- Coordinate any paid search relationship (gifts.com, etc.)
- Pricing:
- Promotion pricing maintenance
- Cost maintenance
- Calculating retails with cost fluctuation
- Optimizing margins
- Promotion Execution:
- Communicating with Digital Marketing Production to provide information and resolve issues
- Finalizing Sales plan and ensuring accuracy
- Creating promos in Jira
- Providing samples to the Photo team
- Providing images to the Photo team
- Conducting price checks within ads
- Enforcing adherence to deadlines
- Other Areas of Responsibility:
- Communicating with Licensors, Supply Chain, Digital Marketing, Paid Search and management to provide information and resolve issues
- Manage clearance markdown schedule
- Maintaining vendor lists
- Managing costs/item maintenance; including item descriptions, (all item maintenance)
