Responsibilities
Seeking a full-time physical therapist assistant to provide high quality services to adult and geriatric patients in a hospital setting. This position is to be a member of an inpatient rehab team. The 38-bed rehab unit is CARF accredited and has certification as a Stroke Specialty Program.
Work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30-5:00 and one weekend a month.
Qualifications:
* Prefer a Physical Therapist Assistant Associate's degree acquired from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program
* Require current State of Michigan licensure
* Current CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire
* Inpatient hospital setting and specifically on an inpatient rehab unit preferred

New graduates pending licensure will be considered. There may be an opportunity to begin as a PTA Extern while awaiting licensure.
