This Employee Development Advisor position serves as a Sales Coach on the team for the Customer Care organization. he Advisor is responsible for Call Center Team Leaders and Customer Service and Sales Representatives in the Customer Care organization with training, coaching and motivation necessary to sell value-added products and services. The Advisor is responsible for increasing revenue generated through proactive sales. The position requires the Sales Coach to work nterdependent with Support Staff and Training to balance customer service and marketing needs.
Project
The selected candidate travels to multiple locations to achieve our predetermined objectives. Provides standard to moderately complex training to CSRs and assists in providing sales training developed for higher level needs. The selected candidate will analyze data and develop plans to improve individual and overall sales performance including enhancement and creation of sales tools and initiatives. The selected candidate will also provide feedback and expertise to Team Leaders to enhance sales performance and revenue goal achievement.
Tasks
The selected candidate will manage the proactive sales initiative using the strategies and standards outlined including:
--Prepare the revenue data for the visual management charts and review weekly with Team Leaders
--Partner with Team Leaders to provide feedback and develop an action plans as necessary based on visual management charts
--Provide Call Center Manager updates on coaching, positive encourage and assistance with Team Leaders improvement plan for CSRs not meeting minimum expectations
--Facilitate and or complete necessary coaching to close knowledge, skill, and or behavioral gaps
Requirements
Minimum of five years sales or marketing experience, previous customer relations experience, PC competency and telecommunications knowledge. Excellent people skills and proven written and oral communication skills with leadership attributes included. The ability to coach and motivate diverse individuals in multiple teams throughout the Customer Care organization. Demonstrates effective training and presentation skills to improve performance. The selected candidate will be required to travel between multiple locations and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision. This position will be filled with the job title matching the chosen applicant's experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will be supporting statewide initiatives,therefore travel including overnight accommodations is required. The candidate should have the flexibility to travel and accommodate a fast paced and fluctuating work schedule.
