Responsibility for consistent planning, development, measuring and monitoring of existing Marketing Channels including Direct mail, Telemarketing, Email, and Website. Works collaboratively with the Marketing Agency to develop successful marketing campaigns that will improve revenues, market share, and customer satisfaction for Consumers Energy. Makes recommendations on the appropriate marketing mix backed by thorough marketing channel analysis, including both efficiency and financial impacts on margins.
Project
# Manages and directs the consistent planning, development, measurement and monitoring of existing Marketing Channels including Direct mail, Telemarketing, Email, and Website. Works collaboratively with the Marketing Agency and outsourced partners to develop successful marketing campaigns that improve revenues, market share, and customer satisfaction for Consumers Energy through guiding and supporting the efforts of cross-functional, internal and external resource teams.
# Understands the needs of the target market, looking after the branding of the product, and aligning the branding with integrated marketing strategies
# Manages the various marketing channel relationships
# Drives understanding of key levers that grow the business and know how to pull each lever to drive growth
# Identifies risks and appropriate contingency plans, helps team respond to unexpected change
# Assists with competitive benchmarking and data collection as needed
# Assists with managing channel marketing budget and costs including forecast accuracy
# Defines scope, establishes and monitors goals, prepares business cases presenting marketing and financial analysis to support recommendations to Management to meet the ASP objectives
# Leverages the resources of all marketing groups, as well as other corporate support groups, to implement marketing tactics.
# Utilizes the appropriate methods and tools in developing marketing campaigns specifications including description, marketing goals including results and budget spend, overview, campaign evaluation, financial justification, timeline plan, internal communication and recommendation for implementation.
# Analyzes marketing campaigns and channels through after action reviews and other effectiveness reviews to determine improvements and recommendations for expansion or phase-out.
# Fosters internal and external relationships
# Represents Consumers Energy with vendors and industry associations
# Meets with customers or customer groups
# Develops and presents formal and informal presentations to Management
Requirements
# Bachelor#s Degree in Business: Marketing Major Preferred.
# Computer Skills including MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and project management software
# Excellent demonstrated knowledge of organizational and analytical techniques, and marketing functions
# Ability to communicate effectively # oral and written with people at all levels
# Five years# experience in marketing and sales
# Demonstrate ability to take campaign kickoff from concept to full implementation and manage process in detail
# Demonstrate ability to work with a variety of people and groups to achieve effective and efficient results.
This position will be filled between Program Assistant Manager (SG 12) - Program Manager (SG 16)
