Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator role will be important in supporting DCC’s external material partners and will act as a technical liaison between DCC, those partners and the end customer’s construction site.
The successful applicant will possess great communication skills, technical acumen and a demonstrated past experience in dealing with external value chain partners, and ideally with end customers. As a time driven and results orientated individual, the candidate will be stress resistant and have the ability to multi task. Prior experience in the Construction façade arena is desirable.
Key responsibilities:
• Ensure AIM documentation flows from the right party at the right time;
• Invoice management to end customer;
• Ensure each manufacturing party meets product and Building Project specification requirements, including design changes;
• Coach and train the AIM partners on VIP handling and specifics related to storage, use and inclusion in insulated glazing units;
• Connect with key DC resources and experts to promptly resolve any on site problems with product installation or use on site. Understand the problem and translate that into how DCC can solve it;
• Reviews engineering/design drawings of curtain wall sections to ensure proper sizing of VIP solutions;
• Own and track internally created timelines associated with each VIP/AIM job (building project). Monitor that DCC committed timelines are kept;
• Communicate status and key issues to HPI & commercial team members as appropriate;
• Drafting and managing all correspondence to the client and all key stakeholders (consultants, GC, owner, architect etc);
• The Project Coordinator will also be the key point of contact for internal communication to F.E.A.T. team, BD, marketing as well as key stakeholders;
• Present and participate in weekly building project meetings (internal and external) with project stakeholders to ensure specification leads to successful completion of Dow Corning Si materials.
The selected candidate must have experience working as a project coordinator for large scale building projects and be comfortable working in and around construction projects.
