The Michigan Lottery and Pollard Banknote are seeking an experienced Marketing Data Analyst to join our digital marketing team. The analyst will be a key part of the analytics team and will generate insights that will drive strategic marketing decisions to improve the Lottery’s digital initiatives. The successful candidate will have a passion for data, a keen sense for details around accuracy and process, and a deep interest in marketing analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide actionable insights for the Lottery’s digital initiatives in order to enhance decision making.
- Implement and maintain web and mobile analytics systems for Lottery’s digital properties. Analyze and benchmark performance across multiple channels and platforms.
- Utilizing A/B testing software, develop test plans, measure performance, and make recommendations to optimize Lottery’s digital properties.
- Assist with CRM / marketing database activities including coordinating various data sources feeding into marketing database, segmentation activities, building email lists, reporting, and analysis.
- Measure return on investment and effectiveness of promotional activities.
- Coordinate industry monitoring and reporting to inform management of interactive market trends.
- Attend training and conferences as necessary to build knowledge and refine skills.
- When assigned, project lead or coordinate assignments between the Lottery and/or vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or Economics degree preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Marketing analysis or digital marketing experience preferred.
- Experience in compiling, summarizing, and analyzing data.
- Proficient with website and mobile analytic tools such as Google Analytics.
- Must be detail oriented and possess strong project coordination and organizational skills.
- Requires critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
