Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to perform general accounting activities in our global corporate finance department to ensure accurate and timely reporting of corporate financial results and consolidated group financial results.

Key responsibilities in the following areas:

* Responsible for completion of the general group accounting function.
* Perform monthly close process in accordance with group closing and reporting guidelines.
* Interact with global finance groups in North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and China regional offices to monitor and ensure monthly close in accordance with the group reporting guidelines.
* Prepare various financial statements and other internal or external financial reports and distribute the monthly financial reporting packages in accordance with company policy.
* Maintain the corporate holding company general ledgers including the following sub-systems / processes and the related accounting activities and creation of appropriate journal entries:
o Cash journal entries/reconciliations
o Fixed assets and depreciation
o Accounts payable and cash disbursements
o Payroll journals and related compensation and benefit accruals
o Cost center operating expenses
o Month-end closing process and related activities
o Foreign currency translation adjustments
* Perform account analysis and account reconciliations on all major accounts to ensure accurate reporting and timely identification of action items.
* Prepare information in support of annual external audit and quarterly reviews, including preparation of schedules.
* Assist in the development of the annual budget process.
* Special projects as needed and ad-hoc analysis
* Monitor that SOX compliance and control processes are followed.
* Research and document accounting activities to ensure compliance with company policy and GAAP.
