Primary responsibility is to provide the direction, framework, data and resources to the company to ensure optimum results are achieved. This includes providing Quality Advocate team with direction to achieve daily objectives and responsibilities as outlined by the Director of Quality.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Function as an extension of the Director of Quality by actively guiding quality activities for the daily direction of the department
- Act as a provisional Director of Quality when the Director of Quality is out of the department or facility
- Determine quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes
- Analyze data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.
- Establish incoming records to be easily retrievable
- Communicate internal quality issues to everyone impacted to assist in resolving the noted quality issues
- Assist Manufacturing with problem solving for the purpose of corrective and preventive actions
- Lead and participate in events to improve quality and productivity
- Complete administrative tasks required for quality documentation, warranty documentation, and quality documents submission to customer
- Monitor the process results and data involved with internal rework and external warranty work
- Assist in development of a Quality Management System and educate personnel on that system
- Assist Engineering and Manufacturing in the establishment, communication, and maintenance of product standards and specifications
- Audit the Quality Management System
- Assist in maintenance and completion of calibration processes for necessary tools
- Participate in NDT ultrasonic blade testing training
- Participate in API laser tracking metrology
- Participate in development of procedure and inspection documents

REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
- 2+ years in technical support role of composite manufacturing operation.
