Position Description/Requirements Dow Corning's Process Solutions orgnaization seeks a Senior Business Process Analyst to support the development, integration and deployment of Human Capital Management payroll solutions and process improvements, primarily supporting the European payroll area. The candidate will work closely with the Human Resource community to help them to meet various technical needs. They will partner with internal clients (and potentially external customers) to translate requirements into effective solutions. Primary Responsibilities: - Participate on strategic and small projects to enhance HCM business processes - Capture detailed user requirements, articulate into a functional design, and perform configuration in SAP - Analyze issues, evaluate options, recommend workflow or procedural solutions, configure SAP or other HCM software and test solutions - Provide training/documentation to business process support team - Create/maintain global business process procedures Additional Responsibilities: Manage third party providers for payroll and tax authorities in multiple countries •Provide third tier production support for SAP Payroll activities •Ability to learn new processes and technologies quickly This role will work closely with the Human Resource community to help them to meet various technical needs and will partner with internal clients (and potentially external customers) to translate requirements into effective solutions. Required Education and Experience: The selected candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems or Engineering, or equivalent related field and must have user experience with SAP and technical aptitude to learn functional and configuration concepts Knowledge/experience with the following tools: SAP Payroll (ECC 6.0), ESS experience, understanding of SAP HR ABAP, file transmission methods to support interface feeds Understand integration with key HR modules such as Personnel Administration and Finance Ability to learn new processes and technologies quickly Additional Knolwedge, Skills and Abilities: Key Certifications (SAP TERP10 Certification) Proven exposure or end user experience with SAP and technical aptitude to learn functional and configuration concepts The selected candidate should have a strong understanding of SAP payroll and time management concepts including, but not limited to, configuration, schemas and workflows , gross-net payroll, taxes, 3rd party, off-cycle, and yearend processes. The selected candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a global team. This position will require support during the European hours during payroll processing days each month in addition to some Sunday implementations.
