?The Rental Branch has an immediate opening for an Equipment Mechanic.

Job Description:

Perform the maintenance and repair of rental equipment in a highly skilled, safe and professional manner.
Key Duties:
1. Repair mechanical equipment. Analyze equipment malfunction and execute required repairs.
2. Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule and repair records for all rental equipment.
3. Manage the ?ready to rent? procedure.
4. Maintain positive customer relations through professional interactions with customers. Load and unload rental equipment as required.
5. Demonstrate the operational and safety features of a wide array of rental equipment for customers.
6. Maintain a safe, clean and organized shop with tools and parts in the appropriate storage areas.
7. Identify and communicate the need for shop tools and repair parts. Maintain the shop tools and repair parts inventory.
8. Maintain documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily/job basis.

Job Requirements:
1. High school diploma and at least 3 years of experience.
2. Trade school certificate or manufacturesponsored training preferred.
3. Welding certification is a plus.
4. Must maintain a professional personal appearance.
5. Must possess a valid driver?s license.
Working Conditions:
Must stand for long periods of time. This position requires frequent lifting and a significant degree of walking, bending and transporting objects of various weights and dimensions. May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene and cleaning solvents. This job requires positive interaction with both coworks and with the public.
