Job Description- Student must possess computer skillsand be able to look up information on various websites to validate information. Must be able to use MS Office software for data analysis and communication. Student must also possess excellent communication skills as they will be call suppliers, requesting various information to populate our systems. Must be detail oriented as they will be entering and verifying information as well as tracking legal GSM documents.
Special skills- Good Organizational skills, Computer skills - PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Good communication skills.
The objective of the Student Programs at Nexteer Automotive is to select students with high potential and provide them with "real world" work experiences. Work assignments expose students to many of the company’s products, processes, procedures, problems, resources, staff areas and people so that they become aware of the career opportunities at Nexteer Automotive. Assignments are deigned to assimilate acquired classroom education with actual hands-on work experience in a technical environment. In addition, Nexteer Automotive gains the opportunity to find new talent to enhance productivity.
Job Requirements:
Full time student at SVSU, U of M - Flint, Davenport University or Northwood University.
Ability to work 20 - 25 hours per week during the school year
Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
