Perform all duties of a laborer as well as: Know and perform all safety requirements. Identify and use all safety equipments for JML installation jobs. Set up and break down advanced scaffolding, pick, ladder, and sloped roof set ups in accordance with JML safety standards. Identify, use and maintain all installation hand tools as well as portable brakes and advanced power tools on all installation vehicles. Knowledge of all fasteners. Sealants. Vapor barriers and ice water barriers, with the ability to install or use in the proper application. understand and perform proper water shed techniques. Knowledge of expansion and contraction with metal products. Perform advanced sheet metal techniques and metal systems with little or no instruction. Perform basic carpentry skills (cutting, shimming, and fastening of wood) with little or no instructions. Ability to work independently on a job site with or without a Foreman, and perform all duties in a sage and timely fashion. Perform other duties as assigned.
The Following Valid licenses and certificates are required:
1). Chauffeur drivers license. 2) DOT medical card. 3). High lo and forklift license (JML certification program. 4). High reach or aerial lift certification (JML certification program).
Education:
Prior experience as a Sheet Metal Worker is preferred.
