Perform all duties of laborer and skilled workers as well as: Supervise or manage any number of employees. Keep accurate time logs of man hours on projects. Enforce all company policies and safety standards. Design and install standard or custom sheet metal products for residential and commercial application. Ability to oversee shop fabrication of metal products for installation projects. Take accurate field measurements for new project estimates and determine proper sheet metal method. Communicate with all customers and potential customers in a professional manner. Have full knowledge of commercial and residential roofing system. s and their compatibility with sealants, vapor barriers, ferrous and non ferrous metals. Read and decipher architectural blue prints. Have basic computer skills for emailing and receiving information. Help create a positive work environment for all JML staff. Follow directions and work well within a team or unit to complete orders or tasks in a timely fashion. Perform other duties as assigned.
The Following Valid licenses and certificates are required:
1). Chauffeur drivers license. 2) DOT medical card. 3). High lo and forklift license (JML certification program. 4). High reach or aerial lift certification (JML certification program).
Education:
Prior experience as a Sheet Metal Worker is preferred.
