POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Demonstrate teaching effectiveness which supports student learning and encompasses pedagogies for student success to meet course or program requirements.
2.Possess the ability to work in a variety of settings which promote quality learning.
3.Maintain professional development to assure currency within field of practice.
4.Possess effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
5.Teaching courses in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning program. Develop curriculum in HVAC program.
6.Ability to do scheduling, hiring and monitoring of adjunct faculty, payroll, and work on strategic initiatives for the discipline.
Required Qualifications
1.Associate Degree in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning with a Bachelor’s degree in Education or in a technical field.
2.Teaching experience in HVAC.
3.Minimum of two years’ experience in HVAC service and installation.
4.Demonstrated currency at a significant professional or technical level in the field of computers.
Additional Experiences Considered
1.HVAC contractor’s license.
2.Journeyman’s card
3.Online teaching experience.
4.Experience teaching diverse student populations.
5.Experience with teaching courses for dual enrollment initiatives.
