Schain Mold and Engineering is seeking an experience Mold Maker. This candidate must be able to inspect products and select the correct shop equipment, precision measurement devices and other tools needed for a job. They must be exact and able to read and interpret blueprints as well. The best candidate will have strong math and communication skills in addition to being able to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
Design capabilities to include Solid Works, familiarity with cutter and design CNC software. Experience with Mastercam 9 is preferred.
Experience with programming and cutter paths (Work NC), utilizing Fadals, tool welding and the ability to work efficiently with form grinding, grinding and bridge ports, is required. EDM cutting experience or a willingness to learn is a requirement of the position.
